
Another one from Ilan Garibi’s book “Origami Tessellations for Everyone”.
There’s not too much to say abou this one! It’s quite easy to fold and looks great, and is also quite easy to modify by changing the spacing between the cells.
It also works well even on low quality paper. Both examples on this page are using the cheapest Amazon origami paper and I think they still came out alright.
Here’s a slight variation on the spacing and what it looks like without any border.

I had the idea of maybe trying to cast some of these in resin to make coasters, maybe I will try it soon!
